2023 was a year of significant growth and financial success for GAI. Looking back over the year, I’m gratified to say that many of our achievements over the past 12 months have succeeded in furthering our ambitious company goals. The acquisition of firm Eland Engineering and its Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) offerings, substantial addition to the ranks of our in-house staff, the expansion of our company into optimized office spaces, and more all contributed to what has shaped up to be one of the most successful years in GAI’s history in terms of both financial performance and corporate development.
Here are just some of GAI’s positive actions and achievements during 2023:
- Welcoming more than 180 new employees and growing our staff’s professional licenses and qualifications.
- Delivering hundreds of standout projects and earning industry recognitions including two 2023 ‘Best In Construction’ awards from the Florida Transportation Builders’ Association and a 2023 Design Award in Planning and Analysis from the American Society of Landscape Architects.
- Announcing a new cohort of company officers and associates—contributors who are helping GAI achieve new heights in productivity and profitability through their work in our technical and corporate spaces.
- Growing our company’s professional staff with the acquisition of Eland Engineering, a Florida-based transportation engineering firm that specializes in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). The acquisition expands the advanced transportation engineering solutions we can offer to our clients.
- Continually improving our health and safety program and procedures to help safeguard staff and clients.
- Celebrating achievements and building camaraderie through in-person and virtual ONE-GAI employee events.
- Supporting our 2023 corporate Charity of Choice Building Homes for Heroes through staff and matching company donations and fostering staff-driven support for a range of charitable entities through donations and volunteer work.
- Enjoying another year of financial stability and success, client and staff satisfaction, and new opportunities.
