GAI provided various substation engineering services on this breaker replacement project to include the following: replacement of 20 distribution feeder breakers and 7 distribution bus tie breakers (13.8 to 23kV); replacement of breaker low voltage disconnect switches; replacement of low voltage bus work; foundation modifications/replacement; installation of new breaker conduit; installation of new breaker grounding material; and protection and control design services including installation of new potential junction boxes, installation of new feeder breaker communication relays, upgrading existing AC and DC load centers, and upgrading existing station service transformers.
