GAI provided various substation engineering services on this power transformer replacement project to include the following: Replacement of 11 power transformers; Replacement of transformer neutral reactors; Upgrading the high voltage and low voltage bus work; Upgrading low voltage transformer disconnect switches; High voltage and low voltage bus work; and Low voltage transformer disconnect switches. GAI also Installed mobile substations in order to maintain the Client’s service during the transformer replacements and provided Protection and Control work for the installation of the new power transformers.
