GAI was commissioned by PennDOT District 10-0 to provide preliminary design, final design, and construction consultation for the widening of a 2-mile segment of SR 0068 in Butler County from two lanes to three lanes. The added third lane will function as a center two-way, left-turn lane that facilitates safe turning movements to access the local businesses and residences along the corridor. The project also involves assessment of four signalized intersections and one unsignalized intersection within the corridor to determine future capacity and safety improvements. GAI’s services include environmental, survey, roadway, geotechnical, and traffic control to develop a plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) package.
