As GAI begins to wrap up Q2 2022, I’m happy to share that GAI is supporting clients throughout our service areas on a range of high-priority projects, our markets are healthy, we have several new and promoted officers and associates to announce, and we are on track for having another successful and profitable year. In addition, we are effectively furthering many of the company goals for the year that I detailed in my Q1 2022 message; here’s a quick update on some of the gains we have achieved:
- GAI’s recent acquisition of Austin, TX-based PGH Petroleum and Environmental Engineers advances our goal to grow our company through strategic merger and acquisition The acquisition of PGH will grow GAI’s client base, expand our petroleum engineering services, and help lead to opportunities in the upstream oil and natural gas market for GAI’s existing staff.
- Advancing GAI’s goal to recruit the best new talent, we conducted a successful career fair at our Pittsburgh, PA flagship office in May. This well-attended event allowed us to present opportunities directly to qualified job seekers, and I’m pleased to say that we have added several professionals to the GAI team as a result. We currently plan to hold additional job fairs at both our Pittsburgh and Orlando, FL offices in the spring and fall of 2023.
- GAI’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee has furthered our goal of raising awareness and fostering an even more attuned and inclusive workplace with the upcoming launch of DEI Community. DEI Community is an online space that offers staff a platform to honor and learn more about customs, cultures, and experiences companywide by hosting open, honest, and respectful conversations on a range of topics.
- Our new Mentorship Program is currently underway with several promising parings of GAI employees and senior staff. This program seeks to support staff career development, leadership potential, and cross-organization engagement, building a stronger, better connected, more cohesive GAI that will continue to excel in offering proactive, responsive, innovative service to our clients.
New and Promoted GAI Officers, Senior Associates, and Associates
Each Q2 at GAI, we announce our new and promoted officers and those employees joining or rising among our ranks of company associates. These employees represent leaders and contributors who have helped GAI achieve new heights in productivity and profitability through their work in both our technical and corporate spaces. Like all of GAI’s exceptional staff, we applaud these individuals’ work, loyalty, innovation, and commitment to providing value to clients and colleagues, which has contributed to our firm’s continued success and growth.
