GAI provided engineering design services for a 55-mile rebuild of an existing 100-year-old double-circuit 138kV transmission line. As part of the design, steel lattice towers were replaced with galvanized steel poles. Over 60 percent of the rebuilt line was offset from the existing centerline due to outage considerations. The project was completed in three phases.
